



Meet the Instructors
Lt Col David C. "Chris" McMartin
Senior Aerospace Science Instructor LtCol McMartin started with The Woodlands in 2015 after 20 years active duty as a C-141 and C-130 Navigator followed by several years as an instructor at the Army Command and Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He coaches our Orienteering, Academic, and Aerospace Teams.
CMSgt Clark Gilleo
Chief Gilleo, Aerospace Science Instructor, started at The Woodlands in 2021 after 30 years of service split between the Air National Guard, active duty Air Force, and Air Force Reserve. He has experience as a Military Training Instructor, a Recruiter (including regional management and Superintendent roles), and engineering with a RED HORSE unit. He coaches our Marksmanship Team.
CMSgt Rick Robinson
Chief Robinson, Aerospace Science Instructor, has been at The Woodlands since 2012 and is primarily responsible for Logistics and our award winning Drill Team. He spent 4 years in the Army Guard followed by 30 years in the Air Force as a medic, finishing out his career as a Command Chief for the 59th Medical Wing.
